Marcela Lopes is a skilled Rolfer and massage therapist in Montclair, New Jersey. She became a certified Rolfer in 2022 after training at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado. Before that, in 2018, she graduated from the Academy of Natural Health and Science with a focus on manual therapy and bodywork.
Originally from Brazil, Marcela moved to New Jersey in 2014. She is passionate, adventurous, and driven by a desire to help others. This led her to explore somatic practices. With her background in medical and rehabilitation fields, Marcela supports people with chronic pain, athletes, and performing artists looking to boost their performance, and anyone aiming for better overall wellness.
Choosing to specialize in Rolfing was a turning point for Marcela. She sought to offer her clients lasting, sustainable results. Through Rolfing, she empowers them to regain control and connect more deeply with their bodies.
Outside of work, Marcela loves hiking, cooking Brazilian dishes, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with friends and cats.
